Eighth Annual Member Golf Tournament set for May 1
OPELIKA, AL – (March 2, 2007) – The Opelika Chamber of Commerce will host its 8 th Annual Member Golf Tournament at Saugahatchee Country Club sponsored by Wal-Mart Distribution Center on Tuesday, May 1st. More than 30 teams are expected to compete in the noon shotgun event.
In addition to the great networking, this year’s event will feature more fun and more competition with added entertainment and games at the holes provided by various sponsors as well as two “Closest to the Pin” contests, the “Longest Drive contest,” “Hole in One” and a “Straight Drive” contest.
This year teams can also choose to “upgrade” their game with the “Bonus Package” which includes 2 Mulligans, a “Beat the Pro” contest and a Poker Run contest per golfer.
