Opelika Chamber of Commerce Names Jill Robinson Membership Director

OPELIKA, AL – (January 11, 2007) – The Opelika Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Jill Robinson, an Opelika native who was born and raised in the area, has been named Membership Director of the organization.

With more than 15 years of sales, management, public relations and marketing experience, Robinson is well equipped to promote the membership and represent the interests of the business community. This experience, along with her past chamber involvement made her a natural choice for the position.

“Jill has been an active chamber member, both as an ex-officio Board Member and as an Ambassador, so she is responsive to our mission to promote business and commerce for our community through volunteer leadership. She will lead all our member recruitment and retention efforts, the ambassador program, the annual golf tournament, member ribbon cuttings/grand openings and the business education committee. We are thrilled to have someone of her caliber, energy and enthusiasm onboard,” said Wendi Routhier, Chamber president.
