OPELIKA, AL – (January 31, 2008) – The Opelika Chamber of Commerce will host its 9th Annual Member Golf Tournament at Saugahatchee Country Club sponsored by Wal-Mart Distribution Center on May 6. More than 30 teams are expected to compete in the noon shotgun event.
In addition to the great networking, this year’s event will feature more fun and more competition with added entertainment and games at the holes provided by various sponsors as well as two “Closest to the Pin” contests, the “Longest Drive contest,” “Hole in One” and a “Straight Drive” contest.
Teams are encouraged to upgrade their game with a ‘Bonus Package’. This includes 2 Mulligans, “Beat the Pro” contest and a Poker Run contest per golfer.
