Paragon Industrial, LLP receives Small Business of the Quarter Award from Opelika Chamber of Commerce

OPELIKA, AL – (January 5, 2007) – The Opelika Chamber of Commerce awarded Paragon Industrial, LLP of Opelika the Small Business of the Quarter award for the fourth quarter 2006. The award was presented to Susan and Rick Bolt, owners of the business.

The Opelika Chamber Business Education Committee’s decision to honor Paragon Industrial is based on the business’s success in providing employment, services and unique products for customers in the East Alabama area. Paragon’s desire to educate and innovate has led them to add services and technology that are usually only available in major metropolitan cities.

Paragon Industrial has been in business for 27 years and has evolved to offer a wide range of services through their three divisions including an indoor air quality division, a janitorial supply division and a service division.

The indoor air quality division cleans air ducts, does mold testing and remediation, and specializes in moisture intrusions inspections for both commercial and residential structures. Paragon Industrial utilizes infrared technology usually only found in larger markets.

Rick and Susan Bolt each hold Alabama HVAC certifications, several mold and indoor air quality certificates, as well as a Level 1 Thermography certification. They are among an elite group of only several thousand thermographers in the United States.

Secondly, the supply division sells many types of cleaning chemicals, paper products and janitorial equipment. Paragon’s service area covers east central Alabama/west central Georgia. They have a showroom for walk-in business, as well as a delivery service.

Finally, the service division does heavy commercial cleaning, restaurant hood cleaning, tile floor maintenance and window cleaning and covers 13 states.

“We are flattered by being recognized by the Opelika Chamber of Commerce,” said Susan Bolt. “We have found that operating with integrity, treating people the way you want to be treated and staying on the cutting edge of technology have all contributed to our business success,” added Rick Bolt.
Paragon Industrial now joins the other three 2006 small business of the quarter award winners, including Cottage Walk, Kemp & Sons Printing and Countryside Veterinary Clinic that will be considered for the Small Business of the Year award that will be presented at the Chamber’s February 1 annual meeting dinner.
Paragon Industrial, LLP is located at 1401 Fitzpatrick Avenue in Opelika and can be reached at 749-3850.
