Sales Tax Holiday Seminar
OPELIKA , AL- June 12, 2007- The Opelika Chamber of Commerce will host a Sales Tax Holiday Seminar Tuesday June 26, at 8a.m. located at the Health Resource Center, 2027 Pepperell Parkway.
The Alabama Department of Revenue and the Alabama Retail Association have joined with the Opelika Chamber of Commerce for an organized meeting to help better understand the sales tax holiday event scheduled for Aug. 3-5.
Any business that sells books, computers, computer equipment, school supplies, and clothing is welcome to join the Chamber for the seminar. The information will be beneficial to these businesses and knowledgeable about the holiday regulations. The audience will also have time for a question and answer session.
